[edit] Character Creation
At the time Stephen, my story-teller, asked "what's your character's name?" I replied "Amanda" off the top of my head. I think, though I don't know why it would have come to mind, I got the name came from an attractive girl in Oregon.
Anyway, Leeloo is the name I chose for my Go-Gaia account (see above picture), as I was for some reason thinking about The 5th Element at the time. However, "leeloo" was taken, so I l33t-ified the name a little into "leel00" :) Initially I wanted to have her look more like The 5th Element character, but the variety in-game, while expansive, did not accommodate. I therefore went for the mildly gothish/punkish style I find attractive.
A combination of the l33tness and the outfit of my avatar is a large part of the reason I went for a female Adept... the other reason is that the two girls were playing guys, so I figured "why not," and the other was that I really wanted to be a technomancer after the stream of non-technomancers I made in response to always playing a technomancer when I first started playing Mage :)

Amanda is an information packrat, hoarding weather forcasts, news broadcasts, refrigerator usage, cell phone conversations... any information she can perceive she stores into a massive, AI-powered database she maintains at home. The daily hard drive costs are maintained by her mundane job as a network administrator for a local ISP.
Amanda's information-gathering habits verge on unhealthy obsession, but she has managed to stay on the side of sanity so far.
[edit] Spheres of Influence
As a Virtual Adept, Amanda is a skilled Correspondence mage; as an information gatherer she strives for a minimum perceptive ability in all the other spheres. Recently she has acquired Spirit 1, which has given her new insight into the structure of information in the world, but she is better familiar with Forces, Mind, and especially Entropy. Her interest in pure information will no doubt lead her toward further study into the forces of Entropy, however for now she is intent on learning how to gain information from other frames of time.
