An unexpected visit

In the spirit of blogs, I guess I should be posting something relevant to my personal life... that seems to be their purpose, so here I go!

I randomly had a friend visit today which was pretty cool. A Nura, with whom I attended Falls Church High School some years back. She had moved to Lebanon, during which time we had only barely managed to keep in touch. But now she's back! Fancy! A friend of hers, using her screen name, got on-line to tell me Nura was in Charlottesville, and that the two of them were talking on the phone right now. So we figured out a place for Nura and I to meet up, and viola!

We went down to the downtown mall, had some tea, got some blank CDs, and later returned for chatting and watching South Park.

So w00t! Nura's living up somewhere in northern VA, so we may yet see each other again.
