People were surprised I drafted the Dark Confidant, since uncontrollable loss of life isn't a good thing in draft... but, come on: consistent card draw? In draft? And I had a few ways to kill him if I really needed, and more than a couple ways to gain life (including Sunhome Enforcer, a combo I managed to get out in two out of my seven games). Telling Time helped keep him under control, too. Anyway, he certainly did me much more service than harm, getting lots of land out of the way. Once, though, I got a Vindictive Mob returned to the top of my library. That sucked - heh. I recovered well enough with Ribbons of Night, though, so it worked out :)

It was good times, though I was surprised to have took first place in the draft. I have to admit that there was an amount of luck with the number of land my Dark Confidant pulled, though.

Oh, and that Yore-Tiller Nephilim was amazing, too. I got both of those rares back during the rare-draft at the end :)
