Phase II: Switcheroo

From Telkoth.net

After making little or no progress since the Kitty Fight, a new plan has been set in motion: since we separated the apartment into two halves, one for each cat, we are now forcing the cats to live in each other's space! Jordan has already used the litter box in the other location, so I'm happy about that, and I observed Chelsea drinking some water shortly after careening over what is apparently a difficult-to-see food dish.

Right now the two cats are dashing to and fro, exploring the enemy territory. But once they've calmed down again, we move on to Phase III: Combine and See how they get along. The idea is to destroy their sense of territory - it was an idea put forth by the vet.

Katie is going to sleep in the bedroom tonight with Chelsea, while I sleep out in the living room with Jordan. We'd feel bad leaving either one of them alone in strange territory, especially Chelsea who mostly likes to hide in her fort all day.
