Thunderstorm!

We had an amazing thunderstorm last night! We all got caught in it, and were terribly soaking wet, but it was so cool :P

And by "we", I mean Katie, Amanda, and I.

Amanda is a person I met on PsyPets who lives super-crazy-close: Fauquier. Well, there are closer places, but still. We hung out until Katie got home, and then all went to the downtown mall to get dumplings and ice cream. As we walked, I noticed, a couple of times, a little lightning out of the corner of my eye, but it never really rained.

As we started to head back with our ice cream and milkshakes, however, it began to pour. Lesser humans screamed, shouted, and generally made a ruckus as they ran for cover. Eventually, however, even we had to take shelter from the downpour.

We huddled in the entry way of the now-closed comic shop for a while, but since the rain showed no signs of letting up any, we pressed on.

At this the rain increased.

By the time we got home, our clothes could absorb no more water, so into the drier! Which was interesting, 'cause Amanada did not bring an extra set of clothes. And Katie is much smaller than Amanda, so-o...
