- Vampires are the living dead. Specifically, do not expect life effects to work exactly the same way on vampires as they do on the living.
- Vampire are immortal. They can be killed, but they do not age, do not need food, or even to breathe [needs citation].
- Being bitten by a vampire does not turn you into a vampire. You must consume their blood. [1]
- Vampires are burned by sunlight. they do not even like being awake during the day. [2]
- Garlic, running water, holy symbols... vampires are not affected by these.
- A wooden stake, arrow, etc, to the heart will not kill a vampire.
- Ignoring the above, new vampires are not much different from humans mentally or physically. older vampires, however, are more monstrous, both in power and regard for life [3], and may posses any of a number of powers which have not been fully indexed: increased speed & strength (Vampires/Celerity), retractable teeth [needs citation], commanding word (Vampires/Command), unnatural stealth (Vampires/Obfuscate), malleable body [needs citation].
